Ayn mumbles, then turns to the others. "Everybody, get the Hell out of here. I can take care of these old hags.." She was trying to come across as arrogant to Legion, but her motives were quite the opposite. Legion can't kill her or he might face severe consequences, and she wasn't about to risk losing anybody over a petty fight that didn't involve them.

"It's very funny how simillar selflessness and stupidity are, but I don't care. Go ahead, fight me alone. You know how it'll end." Legion grinned and flexed his claw-like hand.

"No need for that." Hallon finally steps forward, having observed all this time. "No reason for you kids to stay behind when there's an old man willing to fight. I'm expandable, unlike you lot."

The look on Ayn's face was near-deadly. "If any of you stay behind and refuse to leave, I swear we'll be putting you back in the car in pieces." Her tone was cold and intense, although she meant well.

Hallon smiles. "I have no fear of demons, they hold no power over me."

Legion sighs. "Oh hell, you're some Bible-hugging Catholic aren't you? I'm getting really sick of killing the likes of you. You better have something more inventive than holy water or something."

Ayn scowls. "I didn't want to do this, old man." She bends over, grabbing a handful of the earth. She pulls, and in one upward movement a river of pillars of jagged rocks spurt from the ground, creating a barrier between herself and the others. The tone of her voice changes drastically, to one that seems unhuman.

"Mortals! Remove yourself from this area at once, or face my wrath!

The ground groans and rumbles under the new sudden pressure of the pillars, and would surely collapse- however, as Ayn looks at it, the pillars reform and become rigid. The earth stops shaking.

Hallon seems impressed. "Very well, Gaia. You seem capable enough."

Legion smiles, despite being a little shocked over how powerful Ayn is. "So she's got a bit of bark to go with her bite. Amusing. Though, you forgot one tiny problem."

Ayn waves both of her hands again, and the magma recedes back into the cracks. The crevice disappears, and with a sickening groan, the pillars blocking the others' way disappears in the ground. The earth was back in its normal state.

The flickering in Ayn's eyes cease as she returns to her normal human state. Immediately she feels exhausted beyond her thoughts, and her legs give way to her weight. She lands on her knees, darkness swirling around her. She decides fairly quickly not to fight it and lets the silence embrace her. She doesn't even feel the earth as she hits it.

Riki shakes her head, confused. "Demons? Archdemons? I thought they were just childhood monsters in stories." She looks at the battle ground. "Looks like my stories are coming back to haunt me."

Rikali studies Riki for a moment, shakes her head, and goes over to Fury. "He's hurt bad."

*The skeletal moogle stalks around the seemingly dead corpse, muttering. There is no more blood, even though the wounds remain. Werewolves and vampires take a little more than a couple grevious wounds to kill. As the beast begins to laugh and rise its head bursts into flame and it screams... until it simply starts laughing. The fire goes out, the face is barely burnt.*

"You caught me by suprise on that first pass, but do not think that I shall return to the earth so readily!"

*The vampire werewolf cackles a with a vomiting guttural laugh and summons his -now twisted- guardian spirit of Nek'thu*.*

"Let me see how you fare against this!" - *Zombified creatures continue coming from the mist, and as one had tripped over a gravestone and cleared the fog temporarily, Gale and Kadino both understood that they were in a graveyard*


*Nek'thu was a great aincent brawler, unparalleled in his grapples and adeptness at hand-to-hand combat. Many scholars had witnessed him breaking a chilled bar of steel with his own hand, which also broke. Nek'thu had even in life learned how to allow his flesh to pass through a small amount of object without disturbing them. By concentration he could walk through walls, avoid physical attacks, and commit fatal blows.

Fury glances at Rikali through the corner of his eye. "Ungh... No, I'm fine." He withdrew his arm from around his stomach then, wincing, and noticed it was covered in blood. "Well, maybe I'm not..." With a flick of his wrist he shakes off some of the blood and turns back to his Humvee.

One had just been watching. He didn't say a word, he just watched how Ayn fought. But now that the fight was over, he wondered where Gale was at the moment. "Rikali, help get Fury to the Hummer." He walks to car and pops the hood. He walks around the car to the front and lifts it up. "I'm no ****in' mechanic. . " One looks around trying to see if there was anything he could do. He spends a few minutes under the hood, and checks the car, but it still doesn't start.

Gale sighs loudly as magic swirls in his left hand. "What have I gotten myself into?"

Lara crawls out of the hummer and shoves One out of the way. "Men, think they can fix anything." She immeadiately begins to work on the engine, and unlike One, looks like she knows what the hell she's doing.

He doesn't say a word to Lara, just watches her work, secretly hoping to learn something new. "I'll, um. . go test the car. Just tell me when to turn the ignition." One gets into the drivers seat, awaiting orders.

*The spiritual wraith flies toward Kadino, passing through him and into a stumbling corpse behind him. The corpse is taken over by the spirit. As its arms bulge with magical strength, one palm bursts into a small shower of blood and maggots. The corporeal body sprints forward, attempting to dash Kadino to the ground, but is thrown to the side by a dagger thrust... losing the a fist of yellow bones.*

"Grwah! You shall die now!" The werewolf grunts.

After another minute Lara looks up. "Try it now."

One turns the ignition and the car whines, but doesn't turn on. "Well, at least it's making noise now." One tries again, but steps on the gas while doing so. After a few more tries, the car turns on. He smiles to Lara. "Thanks. Now get in, we're behind schedule here."

((Hate to be an ass, but Gale has to be somewhere soon, and I don't want to have filler much longer. So Kad, you're gonna need to get to a point where Gale can at least leave for a bit within another post or two. >< Sorry.))

Lara walks back over to the hummer and is slightly disappointed to find she has lost much of her space. She sits downs and tries to sleep again.

One shifts into first gear and they start rolling out of there. "We have to hurry, who knows how much damage Gale is causing at Capital."

*Kadino ignores Gale's comment, and decapitates the possessed zombie. He looks to the sky and the faintest sliver of moonlight is starting to appear from behind a cloud. Apparently the moon's phases move fairly quickly in this world.*

"KILL HIM" Kadino shouts as he reverts to a more moogley form.

*Gale starts forward toward the werewolf*

"NO! Do not kill him!" Kadino struggles to say as his fuzzy pom grows back, "Only take him down!"

Gale nods. "Very well..." A large, bubble-like orb appears in Gale hand and he launches it at the wolf. It expands and grows big enough to capture the beast.

*Kadino takes his white dagger and points it to the moon*

"Lunista! I call upon you! Banish these fiends from my presence!"

*Seconds pass and nothing happens*

"...Right, right, another world..."

*Kadino throws the furiously glowing, white dagger into the bubble, where it embeds deep within its neck. Every zombie at once turns into putrid clouds of dust.*

"I must rest! Spare me two hours, and then I can preform my ritual as we move. It will still take me a day to complete if I rest now."

"I live in Estecia. I own the castle there. I will be there soon, if it matters. But not....I'm going to show the Angels the horrors they commited on my people." Gale opens a portal and steps through, disappearing in a flash of light.

A few hours passed with no outside interruptions. The time read 6:00 AM and the sun began peeking over the horizon. "Almost there. . . " Finally, he sees the entrance forest far off. "There it is. . "

Chapter Five: The Home I Never Knew

~Capital, Three Hours Ago~
It had been quiet all night. Then again, it almost always was. None of the Angels had to worry about anything. Michael, the Archangel, was present and had been evaluating the Outpost all week. When one of our sources spotted an Archdemon some distance away, Michael personally left to investigate. What could happen? This whole city was filled with Angels trained to fight, no one in their right mind would attack. That's how I got left incharge. I was "Commander" Zeek now. It felt great to be respected by my peers and trusted by an Archangel. Everyone was where they were suppose to, and there was no sign of trouble on the horizon. That's precisely why I was surpised to hear of a lone man reaching the gates to the city. That's where I was heading now. Alta and Vista (couldn't resist XD) where on guard duty. He'd meet them soon.

Vista raised an eyebrow not knowing exactly who this guy was, he didn't LOOK like an Angel, but who else would know how to get here? Alta answered his question before he could open his mouth.

"Who are you? This is no place for humans."

The man shrugged, shrowded in a dark red coat. "I'm not human."

Alta sighed, she wasn't in the mood for this. "I don't care, this isn't a place for you."

The man shook his head. "On the contrary, this land belongs to me. Your kind took it from my ancestors."

Vista was taken back by this. "He's an...Abbis?"

Alta shock her head. "They all died, he can't be an Abbis."

The man smiled. "Wrong again, I didn't die. However, you are certainly going to." In an instant Sin is torn from its sheath and ripped into Alta's throat, the force of the blow knocking her into the gate she was suppose to be guarding.

Vista's eyes widened, and he opened a link the the Angels inside. "Help! It's an Abbis he just killed Alta and-ARGH!" Vista was cut off by Gale's hand grabbing him by the back of the head, and crushing it against and nearby wall.

Gale held his blood covered hand toward the gates and smiled. "It took an army of Angels to destroy the last city of the Abbis. Let's see how many Abbis it takes to destroy the last Outpost of the Angels. I'll take back our home, and the blood that is owed to my kind by the Angels." A large blast of dark energy rips the doors open, and Gale charges in.

One stops in front of the forest. "Capital is deep in this forest, oh man, just wait until you guys see it, it's beautiful." He begins to get ahead of himself, almost forgetting the reason they were there in the first place. Truth was that One only had the chance of visiting this place a few times, he was born in Obersin and that was all he knew. "Come on, everyone outside the car."

I am glad that I arrived here friend. I see that you have broken free of the bonds of the one that made you. I will not have to fight him when I redeem you, only the spirit-poison. You have fought well indeed, for it has less than half consumed you.

*Kadino looks solemnly at the foriegn moon of this foriegn world*

Luna does not exert her power here... I cannot recieve any guidance from her in this now. I only hope that I will be strong enough to heal you once you are purged.

Hallon steps out and yawns. "In the woods here? I suppose it's well hidden."

Lara is awakened by Ayn's movement, she looks at her sleepily and moans quietly at the thought of having to get up. "I'm not...not..." Lara yawned, not yet fully awake. "Leaving this car without a weapon."

One reaches under the drivers seat and takes out a gun, he put it there before he drove to Bevyhral. He hands it to Lara. "There you go, no let's get out of here." One turns the car off and gets out, waiting for everyone else.

*The dagger is still sunk to the hilt in the neck of the wolf, magically paralyzing it and keeping it from dying. The gooey bubble of Gale's had dissapated, leaving small pools of blood oozing on the ground... toward the vampiric werewolf's wounds.*

She opens the door and nearly tumbles out. Somewhat amused at herself, she straightens once she's out the Hummer and stretches. "That was possibly the best nap I've had in years."
